Where does the $699 company registration fee actually go?

Accepted Answer

$611 of the $699 goes straight to ASIC as the statutory registration fee — exactly what you'd pay if you lodged directly with them. The remaining $88 is our service fee. It covers automated lodgement through our ASIC-approved software, the full document pack (constitution, share certificates, consent forms, member register, first minutes), and your Structly dashboard. Registering directly with ASIC is cheaper — $611 instead of $699 — but you do all the paperwork yourself and don't get the rest.

Do I have to pay anything to ASIC separately?

No. The $611 ASIC fee is included in the $699 total and we lodge on your behalf — you won't receive a separate registration bill from ASIC. Future ASIC fees (the annual review, any later changes) are separate; you handle those from your dashboard, or we handle them for you if you're on Structly Assist.

What's the refund policy?

We refund our service fee in full if we fail to deliver your registration because of our systems, processes, or errors on our end. Refunds don't apply when the registration can't be delivered because of customer-side issues — for example, incorrect director details, ineligible company or business names, missing Director IDs, or ASIC rejecting the application because of the information provided. In those cases, we work with you to correct and resubmit at no extra cost to the service fee. ASIC statutory fees ($611 for company registration, business name fees, etc.) are non-refundable once lodged, because ASIC does not refund these to us. For the Structly Assist monthly subscription, the first 30 days are free and fully refundable. After that, you can cancel any time — email support@structly.com.au and we stop all future charges immediately. We don't refund past billing cycles beyond the 30-day window.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The total shown at checkout is what you pay. The only exception is future ASIC fees that naturally arise once your company is trading — the annual review fee ($329/yr for standard Pty Ltd, $67/yr for special purpose trustee companies) and any state-level obligations like payroll tax if you employ staff. Those aren't hidden; they're just outside our initial registration scope. Structly Assist optionally handles annual reviews and bills the ASIC fee with your year's renewal.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Structly Assist can be added at checkout and cancelled any time — email support@structly.com.au and we stop future charges immediately. The underlying company structure (sole trader, Pty Ltd, trustee company) can't be swapped retroactively — if your needs change, you'd register a new entity for the new structure.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All payments are processed securely through Stripe — card details never touch our servers. For Structly Assist subscribers, we use the same card for ongoing monthly or annual billing.

Question 7

Is my payment secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Payments go through Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1), the same payment infrastructure used by companies like Shopify, Lyft, and Slack. Your card details are entered in Stripe's secure payment element, never on our servers. We only receive a record of the successful payment — not the card number.
